Two more Malayali COVID-19 patients die in the Gulf

With two more hailing from Kerala dying in the GCC nations from COVID-19 on June 7, the total number of Malayalis who died as a result of the viral infection and related complications climbed to 190.

A native of Koduman in Pathanamthitta, Harikumar, died in Damam. Ajmal of Kuttikadavu in Kozhikode died in Kuwait taking the tally of Keralites who died in the region within the last two days to 15.  Thirteen people from the state died on June 6.

At the same time the number of people who died from the virus across the world crossed four lakhs on June 7, 2020. The total tally now stands at 4,00,054 and the total number of people infected stands at 69,17,663.

The majority of the deaths was recorded in the United States of America at 1,11,688
