Thackeray asks people to prepare for lockdown in Maharashtra

Amid a rapid surge in cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today asked people to prepare for a lockdown as Covid protocols are not being followed in the state.
At a meeting with the task force, the Chief Minister raised his concern over the rising number of cases in the state which may lead to a health care crisis. This may also lead to a rise in Covid-related deaths in the state, the officials of the task force said.
