The BJP protested against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for calling the massacre of Kashmiri Pandits false. His residential gate was allegedly vandalised.
NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday held protests against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The demonstration was led by BJP MP Tejasvi Surya from IP College to the CM’s residence. The front gate of the CM’s residence was vandalised.
The official Twitter handle of the Aam Aadmi Party accused the BJP of vandalising Kejriwal’s residence. The tweet read: “CM Kejriwal’s HOUSE ATTACKED BY BJP!SECURITY BARRIERS BROKENCCTVs CAMERAS BROKENGATE VANDALISEDWITH FULL SUPPORT FROM BJP’S DELHI POLICE. All for demanding Rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits?”
While, Aatishi wrote: “Shocking! what was Delhi Police doing when BJP workers and leaders were doing rampage at CM Arvind Kejriwal’s residence? Did they have orders from Amit Shah’s Office to support the BJP vandals?”
The protests were called against Kejriwal for his statement where he termed the massacre of Kashmiri Pandits as false.
