Kuwait: Thanima Kuwait organised Sauhrithathanima Iftar and blood donation camp at Kuwait Indian School on 29th April 2022 . Indian Ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Shri. Sibi George inaugurated the programme. In his address he said that we can succeed in life only by engaging in such voluntary social activities and holding hands with each other in a secular brotherhood way for helping the needy.
The programme was chaired by Program Convener Dileep D.K. Babuji Bathery delivered the introductory speech followed by welcome speech by Shaiju Pallippuram. Zakir Hussain Thuvoor, Balamurali KP and Father Mathew M. Mathew conveyed the Ramadan Messages, emphasizing the importance of the situation in which religious harmony and co-operation must prevail.
Chairperson of Kuwait Indian School Mrs. Hind Ibrahim Al-Qutaimi, School Principal Mrs. Sabahath Khan, Babuji Bathery and Dileep DK. Vijesh Velayudhan attended the programme. A video presentation on Tanima’s 18-year-service highlighting its extensive work in the fields of arts, sports, culture, education and healthcare was presented during the occasion which amazed the audience.
Prizes to the winners of building decoration competition held as part of New Year celebrations and mementos to the children who are leaving Kuwait home for further education were distributed during the occasion. . About 200 volunteers from various parts of Kuwait donated blood. Mrs. Litty Jacob was the moderator of the program. Mrs. Usha Dileep proposed vote of thanks
