Nine hundred and ten new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Oman on June 29 and six new COVID-19 related death cases were reported, according to the Sultanate’s Ministry of Health, the Oman News Agency reported.<br />
Of the total, 535 were Omanis and 375 were non-Omanis. This brings the total number of positive COVID-19 cases to 39,060 in the Sultanate, in addition to 169 death cases, the ministry said.<br />
The Ministry said that 1,222 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 22,422.<br />
The Ministry also said that 3,191 tests were conducted over the past 24 hours, adding that 53 cases were hospitalised on June 29. Of a total number of 423 hospitalised COVID-19-infected patients, 115 were in intensive care units.</p>
