In a Facebook post Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that while the world was reeling from the epidemic of COVID-19, Guru’s words were becoming a guide for the journey ahead. Perhaps it was this exemplary revolution of Gurudevan that laid the best foundation of hygiene for our struggle against COVID.

“In this age where people are being divided in the name of religion, we need to be guided by the great message that whatever the religion, it is enough for man to be good. Gurudarshans inspire us to see those around us today and work for them. The visions of Sree Narayana Guru, which laid the foundation for egalitarian thinking in the minds of the Malayalees, are becoming more relevant here. On this auspicious day, each of us can take a vow to keep them intact,” the Chief Minister said in his post.
