										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The market climbed for the eighth day in a row. At the same time, the market is experiencing severe volatility. The Nifty traded 200 points lower during the day. It rose again to 12,571 points during the trade session.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Nifty is up 12,769 points. The Sensex closed at 43,593 points and the Nifty closed at 12,749 points. The Sensex was up by 316 points and the Nifty by 118 points.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The stock market hit a record high for the third day in a row. The Nifty and the Sensex hit new highs in recent days, setting new all-time highs during the day.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Metal and pharma stocks were the major contributors to the day’s gains. The Nifty Pharma index was up 3.59 per cent and the Nifty Metal index was up 3.46 per cent. At the same time, banking stocks fell sharply.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Hindalco, Tata Steel, Dr Reddy&#8217;s, Lab, Axis Bank and Eicher Motors were the top five gainers. The stock gained over 4 per cent.</p>

<p>The majority of Nifty stocks traded higher. Out of the 50 stocks in the Nifty, 43 stocks gained while seven lost. Some of the losers were down sharply. Shares of IndusInd Bank and Reliance Industries lost over 4 per cent.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Nifty closed above 11,600 points on strengthening stock markets on September 16. The Sensex and Nifty gained for the second day in a row. The Sensex gained 258 points and the Nifty 82 points.</p>
<p>The Nifty rose again to 11,600 points after August 28, indicating that the market trend is technically strong. The Nifty has not been able to break through the 11,600 resistance level in the last two weeks.</p>
<p>At no point in the trade did the market go down significantly from last day’s closing level. Unlike in the past, the market was less volatile.</p>
<p>The Sensex closed at 39,302 points. The day’s low is 39,037.96 points. Similarly, the Nifty closed at 11,604 points. It was down at one point to 11,516 points but ended at 11,618.</p>
<p>Most of the 50 stocks in the Nifty gained. While 29 stocks in the Nifty gained 19 stocks lost. The share price remained unchanged for two. Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Mahindra &amp; Mahindra, Hindalco, Bajaj Auto and Britannia were the top five gainers in the Nifty. Dr. Reddy&#8217;s Laboratories was up 4.44 per cent and Mahindra &amp; Mahindra was up 4.09 per cent. Shares of Hindalco, Bajaj Auto and Britannia rose more than 300 per cent.</p>
<p>Pharma and automobile stocks were the main gainers on the day. The Nifty Pharma Index gained 2.08 per cent. Shares of Dr. Reddy&#8217;s, Cadila Healthcare, Sun Pharma and Lupin Pharma rose more than 2 per cent.</p>
<p>The Nifty Auto Index was up 1.53 per cent. Automobile stocks Mahindra &amp; Mahindra gained 4.09 per cent and Bajaj Auto 4.02 per cent.</p>
<p>IndusInd Bank, NTPC, Infratel, SBI and Axis Bank were the biggest losers in the Nifty. IndusInd Bank fell 2 per cent.</p>

The Sensex had gained over 38,109 points during trading. The Nifty closed at 11,214 points. It had reached 11,231 points during trading on the day.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 14pt;">The top five gainers were Asian Paints, Bajaj Finance, UPL, Bajaj Finserv and IndusInd Bank. Asian Paints was up 4.65 per cent on the day. Bajaj Finance gained 3.74 per cent and UPL 3.49 per cent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 14pt;">Titan Industries, HCL Technologies, Infosys, Sun Pharma, Mahindra &amp; Mahindra were the top five losers in the Nifty. Titan Industries lost 2.15 per cent and HCL Technologies lost 2.15 per cent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 14pt;">Shares of private banks were the main gainers on the day. RBL Bank rose 9.27 per cent. IDFC First Bank gained 6.49 per cent and Federal Bank gained 4.48 per cent on the day.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 14pt;">Some pharma stocks also gained. Alcom Labs was up 4.44 per cent and Divis Labs was up 2.46 per cent. Shares of Alcom Labs, Divis Lab, Cipla, Dr Reddy&#8217;s and Arbindo Pharma hit 52-week highs on August 7.</span></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The stock market continued to decline for the second day on July 30. The Sensex was down 335 points. The Sensex had lost 757 points on July 29 and July 30.<br />
The Sensex, which had climbed to 38,413.81 points crashed as it couldn’t hold on to the pressure point. It closed at 37,736 points.</p>
<p>Similarly, the Nifty ended 110 points lower at 11,102 points. Nifty was up by 11,299.95 points during trading. From there it dropped about 200 points. The Nifty is under strong pressure at 11,300. It couldn’t break through and booking of profits was noticed in the market.</p>
<p>Dr Reddy&#8217;s, Sun Pharma, Wipro, Vedanta and Maruti Suzuki are the top five gainers in the Nifty. Dr. Reddy&#8217;s gained 4.60 per cent. The stock hit a 52-week high, setting a new record.</p>
<p>Pharma stocks helped keep the market afloat on the day. Divis Lab was up 5.67% and Sun Pharma was up 3.37%. Similarly, the Nifty gained 3.11 per cent on July 30.</p>
<p>IT stocks also gained today. IT stocks including Infosys, Wipro and pharma stocks such as Sun Pharma and Cipla also recorded a 52-week high.</p>
<p>BPCL, IndusInd Bank, IOC, HDFC and Axis Bank were the top five losers in the Nifty. BPCL lost 8 per cent today. IOC fell 4 per cent.</p>
<p>Bank stocks lost ground on July 30. The Nifty Bank Index fell by 2 per cent. IndusInd Bank fell 5 per cent.</p>

<p>The shares of prominent pharma company Cipla and FMCG giant Britannia registered the highest prices in the last 52 weeks. Forty-two of the Nifty 50 Index registered gains on the day.<br />
Energy shares led the bulls in the market surge, </p>
<p>The shares of the key energy company BPCL rose 12.43%. The shares of Hindustan Petroleum, Tata Power and ONGC rose above 5%. </p>
<p>Relieance Industries too aided the surge in the market on July 17. The shares of Reliance Industries rose 3.94%.<br />
BPCL, ONGC, GAIL, Infratel and Reliance Industries are the Nifty shares that registered high gains </p>
<p>The shares of Hindalco, Britannia, Nestle India, TCS and Dr. Reddy’s faced losses on the day.</p>
