India would play a leading role in the global revival as the country had the talent and has an inherent ability to reform and rejuvenate, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that world over, the contribution of India’s talent-force is highly recognised, especially the contribution of the Indian tech industry and tech professionals.
Modi was addressing the inaugural session of India Global week via video-conference. He described India as a power-house of talent that is eager to contribute. Indians are natural reformers and history has shown that India has overcome every challenge, be it social or economic. He said that when India talks of revival it is: Revival with care, Revival with compassion, Revival which is sustainable – both for the environment and the economy.
The Prime Minister listed the gains made during the last six years such as: total financial inclusion, record housing and infra construction, Ease of Doing Business, bold tax reforms including the GST. Mr. Modi said that the green-shoots of economic recovery could already be seen as owing to the indomitable Indian spirit.
He said that technology today helps the Government to bring benefit to the beneficiaries directly, including, providing free cooking gas, cash in the bank accounts, free food grains to millions of people and many other things.
The Prime Minister said India is one of the most open economies in the world and is inviting all the Multinational Companies to set up their business in India. He described India as a land of many possibilities and opportunities. He described the various reforms initiated in the Agriculture Sector and said that it provides a very attractive investment opportunity for the global industry. The Prime Minister said that the latest reforms are providing a boost to the MSME Sector and that they would be complimenting the big industry.
He said that there are investment opportunities in the defence sector and the space sector.
The Prime Minister said that the pandemic has once again shown that India’s Pharma industry is an asset not just for India but for the entire world. It has played a leading role in reducing the cost of medicines especially for developing countries. He said that Atma Nirbhar Bharat is not about being self-contained or being closed to the world but about being self-sustaining and self-generating.

ABU DHABI,
Leading UAE developer Miral has announced the opening of the world’s largest indoor skydiving flight chamber and tallest indoor climbing wall at Yas Island – two record-breaking experiences for sports and leisure enthusiasts.

CLYMB Abu Dhabi, the new sports and leisure attraction on Yas Island was inaugurated by Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office.

The launch was marked by a thrilling entertainment showcase with record-breaking skydiver, daredevil, and Base jumper, Felix Baumgartner taking a flight in the chamber – as well an exhilarating performance by Redbull indoor skydiving athletes and gold medallists, Kyra Poh from Singapore and Maja Kuczynska from Poland, said a statement from Miral.

Red Bull climbing athlete and professional rock-climbing champion, Sasha DiGiulian from the US laid the first climbing chalk marks as she scaled the world’s tallest indoor climbing wall, it stated.

Suitable for guests of all ages and skill levels, and with expert instructors supervising at all times, CLYMB’s skydiving flight chamber is 10 m wide and 32 m high.

Its indoor climbing wall is 43 m tall and features five walls of various degrees of height and difficulty. The attraction is conveniently accessible through Yas Mall and is adjacent to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, it added.

Miral Chairman Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak said: “This is yet another milestone for us as we continue to elevate Yas Island’s position as a leading global destination for entertainment, leisure and business.”

“We are honoured to have Sheikh Khalid inaugurate this one-of-a-kind sports attraction, which is designed to become the ultimate hub for adventure, offering something completely unique, challenging and unforgettable for active lifestyle enthusiasts from around the world,” remarked Al Mubarak.

CLYMB Abu Dhabi’s striking architecture has been inspired by the UAE’s rugged, mountainous landscape.

With its geometric exterior resembling a crystal-like structure, the venue has already become a Yas Island landmark, adding to the integrated leisure, lifestyle and entertainment experiences available to visitors, said the top official.

CLYMB Abu Dhabi will be open from 12pm to 9pm (Sunday to Thursday) and from 12pm to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

“The opening of CLYMB Abu Dhabi is yet another step forward to deliver on our commitment to drive increased visitors to Yas Island, enhance its appeal, and offer a diverse range of attractions and experiences within one destination.
