Suresh Gopi, the Mollywood superstar who is currently the Rajya Sabha MP is known for his humanitarian works, and many of his acts have proven that the actor is a Superstar in real life too. Now, Suresh Gopi has raised his voice for Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput’s parents, who are seeking justice for the death of their son who died under mysterious circumstances.
While talking with a national media outlet a few days back, Suresh Gopi revealed that the sentiments of Sushant’s parents should be considered while deciding the nature of the probe. He also made it clear that investigations may turn unfair if governments get involved.
It should be noted that Suresh Gopi is the only South Indian superstar who has extended his support to the demands put forward by Sushant Singh Rajput’s parents.
Amid pressure from the public and top-rated celebrities like Suresh Gopi, a CBI inquiry is currently going on to unravel the mysteries surrounding Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The CBI investigation team has analysed Sushant’s bank statements and has apparently found some discrepancies.
In the meantime, senior BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has recently stated that it was public sentiments that resulted in a CBI inquiry in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. He also added that the Maharashtra police is capable enough to handle cases like these.
“I have worked with the Maharashtra Police for the last five years, so I know their capabilities. However, sometimes, police function under political pressure which should not happen,” said Fadnavis.
