Stock market turns volatile after reaching new heights

The stock market witnessed the Nifty rising above 15,400 points for the first time today. At the same time, the market was volatile following the gains.

The Nifty, which started the morning with gains, rose above 15,400 for the first time. The Nifty, which had touched a high of 15,431, has been volatile since then. Nifty fell by 190 points during the day. At the same time, the Nifty was able to close above 11,300, finding strong support at 15,260. The Nifty closed lower with not much difference from yesterday . Sensex was down 50 points

Shares of private banks were affected by higher profit booking. Bank Nifty declined by 200 points. At the same time, investors’ interest in metal stocks was evident. The Nifty Metal Index is up 2.89 per cent. Public Sector Bank Index rose 1.65 per cent. The Nifty IT index fell 1.5 per cent. Nifty Midcap and Smallcap indices gained.
