Six deaths, 910 new COVID-19 cases reported in Oman

Nine hundred and ten new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Oman on June 29 and six new COVID-19 related death cases were reported, according to the Sultanate’s Ministry of Health, the Oman News Agency reported.
Of the total, 535 were Omanis and 375 were non-Omanis. This brings the total number of positive COVID-19 cases to 39,060 in the Sultanate, in addition to 169 death cases, the ministry said.
The Ministry said that 1,222 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 22,422.
The Ministry also said that 3,191 tests were conducted over the past 24 hours, adding that 53 cases were hospitalised on June 29. Of a total number of 423 hospitalised COVID-19-infected patients, 115 were in intensive care units.
