Shooting of Universal’s big budget dinosaur movie to restart soon

Jurassic World: Dominium is set to become one of the major studio titles to restart filming in the United Kingdom, amid COVID-19, as the country begins easing lockdown. The dinosaur movie was one of the major big budget films that went to hiatus because of the lockdown.

Universal studios confirmed that the production of Colin Trevorrow-directed movie will begin its shooting on May 16 and the pre-production is due to kick -start this week. Alongside the UK’s own regulations regarding social distancing and other coronavirus related safety standards, the British Film Institute and British Film Commission has set up an extensive standard set of production guidelines. Universal revealed that the production team will be adhering to these protocols.

According to government rules, anyone flying into the UK to restart work on the Jurassic World: Dominion, including  Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, will undergo a two-week quarantine.
