Shine Tom Chacko’s Love to become first Indian film to hit theaters amid coronavirus pandemic

Shine Tom Chacko’s movie ‘Love’ is going to be the first Indian movie to hit the theaters amid the coronavirus pandemic outbreak. As theaters in the country remain closed due to the pandemic, the film will have its theatrical release in the Gulf on October 15.

According to reports, Home Screen Entertainment and Golden Cinema GCC are jointly distributing the cinema in Gulf territories.

Khalid Rahman who had previously made super hit movies like ‘Anuraga Karikkin Vellam’ and ‘Unda’ has directed ‘Love’. Rajisha Vijayan has played the role of the lady lead in this film.

Earlier, Khalid Rahman had revealed that the film will fall in the genre of black humor. The recently released trailer of the film also indicates that Love will be a film with some thrill elements too.

Shine Tom Chacko also expressed his excitement regarding the release of the first Indian movie during the time of the pandemic.

“Hi everyone, hope you’ll are doing well & safe? My upcoming film “ Love Movie ” is the first Indian film to release in Cinemas post the lockdown. It’s set to release in the Gulf on 15th October with all necessary precautions for a safe experience. So catch me in theatres for the experience we’ve all been missing for a while! Stay Safe & Loads of “Love”, always!” said Shine.

It is still unclear whether there will be an OTT release of this movie in the near future.
