Sukanto Roy, a sculptor from Asansol, West Bengal has unveiled a wax statue of Sushant Singh Rajput. The statue is now open for public view at his own museum in the city.
In the wax statue, the actor can be seen wearing a white T-shirt and black pants along with a denim jacket. The status also features Sushant’s beautiful smile which is being loved by millions in the country.
Sukanto, while talking to ANI revealed that he will make a new statue for Sushant Singh Rajput’s parents if they want one.
“I liked him a lot. It is unfortunate that he passed away. In his memory, I have made this statue for my museum. However, if Sushant’s family requests for his statue, I will make a new one,” said Sukanto.
Recently, thousands of his fans had signed an online petition to get a wax statue of the actor at Madame Tussauds in London.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020. Even though police reports called Sushant’s death a suicide, mounting pressure from all corners made authorities to initiate a CBI inquiry to unravel the mysteries surrounding his demise.
