Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor join hands for the first time in a horror comedy

The popularity of horror comedies is on the rise in Bollywood, and in order to exploit this genre to the fullest, Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor are joining hands for a new movie titled ‘Bhoot Police’. Expectations surrounding this movie have already gone sky high, as this flick marks the union of Saif and Arjun for the first time in their career.

Pavan Kirpalani, who has previously helmed movies like Ragini MMS, and Darr @ the Mall will be directing this movie. The director has already proved his talent in making spooky horror movies, and audiences are eagerly waiting to know how he will craft an in and out horror comedy on screen. Bhoot Police will be bankrolled by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri.

“Rameshji, Akshai Puri and I are excited to bring this spooky adventure comedy on the celluloid for everyone to experience the thrills and laughs on the big screen. I am really thrilled to have Saif and Arjun come together for this entertaining feature. Both of them will be seen bringing their trademark fun elements to the brand new avatars they will portray in this film. We are gearing up to start the shoot by the end of this year,” said an excited Kirpalini.

Saif Ali Khan is currently awaiting the release of his new movie ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ which is being directed by Varun V Sharma. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2005 film Bunty Aur Babli. Apart from Saif, this movie also stars Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi and debutante Sharvari in other prominent roles.

On the other hand, Arjun Kapoor’s new movie is Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. The film has Parineeti Chopra in the role of the female lead. The film was supposed to have its release in early 2020, but due to the coronavirus outbreak, the makers have indefinitely postponed its theatrical hit.
