Safeer Market celebrates 40 years

Safeer Market, the supermarket division of Al Safeer Group, marks its 40th anniversary in the UAE with ambitious growth plans and a projected 25 per cent year-on-year revenue increase in 2025.

Established in 1985 with a single store in Al Ain, Safeer Market has grown into a trusted household name across the UAE. Known for its commitment to value, quality and convenience, the brand operates a growing network of supermarkets and hypermarkets serving diverse communities.

As it celebrates four decades of retail excellence, Safeer Market is set to significantly expand its footprint. A major milestone is the upcoming state-of-the-art warehousing facility in Sajjah, which will include a packaging unit, central bakery, meat processing plant, and a 12,000 sq. ft. supermarket and outlet store. In addition, 20 new retail locations are planned across the UAE over the next two years, including a new mall complex in Khor Fakkan.
To commemorate its 40th year, Safeer Market is launching a year-long celebration featuring an Dh500,000 raffle draw starting May 8. Shoppers can look forward to engaging activities such as in-store cooking contests, fashion shows, kids’ art competitions, and cultural celebration weeks — aimed at boosting customer engagement and community spirit.

Safeer Market continues to lead Al Safeer Group’s retail vision, playing a pivotal role in the UAE’s evolving consumer landscape while honouring its deep-rooted legacy of trust and value
