Our Correspondent

Legendary Indian singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam is currently on maximum life support after his condition worsened in the past 24 hours. According to reports, the singer has suffered a brain hemorrhage, and is critically ill.

Even though SPB had tested negative for coronavirus on September 8, he could not be taken off the ventilator due to the condition of his lungs.

On Thursday night, Kamal Haasan, one of SP Balasubrahmanyam’s close friends, had visited the MGM hospital. After coming out of the hospital, Kamal Haasan told the media that the singer was in a very critical condition.

A few days back, SPB’s son had revealed that his father was showing signs of recovery. SP Charan also added that SPB was taking part in physiotherapy sessions.

It was on August 5 that SPB was admitted to the hospital after testing positive for coronavirus. Later, his condition worsened, and he has been in ventilator for nearly two months now.
