Hello Sir

A fine conclusion to an excellent series of articles highlighting the recent Indo-China Galwan Valley stand-off. China is using its economic might and using its neighbouring countries like pawns to strike India at an opportune moment. Like mentioned in the article, it is taking undue advantage of the international trade laws to try and inadvertently threaten other nations with economic setbacks if they don't surrender to its will. The recent encroachment is China's desperate attempt to try to scare India which is now proving to be its biggest rival. A large number of Industrial Giants have been planning to move their base of Operations from India to China due to the Covid crisis. Even tech giants like Apple have announced to invest in huge numbers in India in the coming years and this beginning of loss of its elite clientele is what's making China furious.

The series has been absorbing and has been able to analyse the issue pragmatically. The last one has hit the nail on its head. One aspect that could have been included is the role of Russia in this conflict which to me appears dubious. They have benefited the most by the frantic orders placed for their equipment. Has China done them a favour is worth considering. The biggest threat from Chinese is to fan emotions and create instability in India. They will use democracy and freedom of speech to achieve it. Great reading; looking forward to new series to keep us interested.

You have no doubt done a great job in putting together this series of articles on the India china border issue. Very studied and logical. Only time will tell if your predictions and analysis went the right way. It should no doubt, provided the powers that be in India handle it to achieve the objectives that you have highlighted ,and not use the present situation to win abd retain the support of their indian vote bank.

A very well researched article on options available to the strategic thinkers of India on how to move ahead in the present Indo China stand off. Drawing richly from historical lessons, the article also brings out pitfalls of believing China and its results for Gen Next. Congratulations on summing up so much so succinctly Sir.
