Rains in UAE: Dubai Municipality on high alert to tackle rain impact, weather-related emergencies

Dubai: As heavy rainfall and unpredictable weather conditions affected different parts of the UAE on Sunday, Dubai Municipality has intensified its emergency response efforts to swiftly manage rain-related incidents and ensure public safety.

UE authorities have urged the public to stay vigilant, avoid flooded areas, and report any issues that could pose a risk to public safety.

Taking to social media, the municipality said its rapid-response teams are on high alert to address weather-related incidents.“Our teams are on high alert for rapid response and resolution of weather-related reports and rainfall incidents,” the municipality said in a post on X.
Residents are encouraged to report rain-related incidents, especially water accumulation, through the Dubai Municipality App, via WhatsApp, or by calling the dedicated helpline at 800900.

The municipality reassured that its proactive approach aligns with Dubai’s vision of creating a more liveable and sustainable urban environment.

“Your safety is our priority,” the municipality stated in the post.
