Race to White House: Biden sees clearer path to Presidency

Who will be the new US President?Democratic Party’s Joe Biden is staging a stirring comeback in Georgia’s count where Trump’s lead is narrowed. Biden is ahead in Arizona too.

Joe Biden is leading over incumbent Donald Trump in Republican stronghold Georgia by 917 votes. Trump will not be able to secure the magic number 270 without the win Georgia and Pennsylvania.

The former vice-president became the first Democrat since 1992 to be victorious in the state.

Meanwhile social media giants Facebook, Twitter put a stop on violent rhetoric on their social media platforms.

The “Stop the Steal” group, which called for “boots on the ground to protect the integrity of the vote,” was adding 1000 new members every 10 seconds and had grown to 3,65,000 members in a day. Facebook and Twitter put stop to the group as the group was organised around the delegitimization of the election process and saw worrying calls for violence from some members.
