Doha: During the sweltering summer, a month-long festival dedicated to children and families is set to take place. The Qatar Toy Festival will begin on Wednesday, July 14, and will run throughout the day and night at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. This event, celebrating summer, marks the second edition of the Qatar Toy Festival.
The festival will culminate on Wednesday night with the closing ceremony at 7:30 PM, featuring a variety of activities. The event will include performances by the renowned ‘Ruh Al Sharqi’ band from Mecca and other entertainment segments.On the final day, attendees can enjoy the festival from noon until late at night. The festival will feature exhibitions, performances, and displays of popular cartoon characters for children, as well as arts and crafts, play areas, and various competitions. Spanning over 17,000 square meters, the festival is organized into sections including pre-school, girls, boys, animation, family areas, movie land, stage performances, food and beverages, themed areas, and retail.The festival will also showcase musical performances, traditional dance presentations, competitions, and appearances by popular influencers such as Rashid Risc, Adnan Family, Thalfan Family, Fawzi Mousy, Blippi, and Mask Kids. This year, the event will feature 19 stage shows and parades.With over 50 brands participating, including Barbie, Marvel, Angry Birds, Naruto, and more, the festival attracts visitors from Qatar, neighboring GCC countries, and beyond. Renowned artists and performers from Mecca will also be present to entertain the audience throughout the month-long festival.
