Public spending rises to over RO 9 billion in Oman as state general revenues increase

MUSCAT : Oman’s state general revenues reached an impressive RO 10.2 billion by the end of October 2024, signalling a robust fiscal performance. Meanwhile, public spending climbed to RO 9.684 billion.

Alongside significant revenues, the government has allocated RO 333 million towards the debt repayment provision.Additionally, over RO 130.1 million has been directed to key sectors, including the social protection system, the electricity sector, and essential products.
