Muscat: Vehicles with engine capacities ranging from 1,500 to 3,000 cc formed the largest segment, accounting for 54.4% (954,137 vehicles). White continued its reign as the most popular color, representing 42.5% (745,196 vehicles) of the total registered fleet.
Commercially licensed vehicles contributed 14.5% (253,895 vehicles) to the overall count, while the rental and taxi segments stood at 2.3% (39,919 vehicles) and 1.6% (28,239 vehicles), respectively. Meanwhile, a staggering 90.7% (1,591,234 vehicles) of all registered vehicles in the Sultanate weighed under 3 tons, reflecting the dominance of light vehicles on Omani roads.
