Poet, lyricist Anil Panachooran passes away

 

Poet, lyricist Anil Panachooran passed away on Sunday night while undergoing treatment for COVID-19.  The 51-year-old died at a private hospital in T

Anil gained recognition after his songs in Sreenivasan starrer ‘Arabikkatha’ became popular. Born P. U. Anilkumar, he was a lawyer. He also penned songs for Loud Speaker, Bhamaram and Kathaparayumbol.

Anil collapsed and was hospitalised with breathing difficulties. Hospital authorities said that Anil was suffering from Coronavirus. He is survived by wife Maya and their children Maitreyi and Arun.
