Pakistan community in Oman welcomes new Ambassador

Muscat: Organized by the former Board of Directors of Pakistan Social Club, the event brought together prominent community members, embassy officials, and Omani dignitaries to celebrate the deep-rooted ties between the two nations.

The distinguished Omani guests included Najeeb Saleh Mohammad Al Zadjali and Mohammad Ramdhan Al Balushi, both Members of the Majlis Al Shura, as well as Al Sheikh Salim Hamdoon Saeed Al Jabri, Sheikh of Amerat, and Rudaina bint Amur Al Hajri, Director of the Saeedia School Museum. Their presence underscored Oman’s strong friendship with Pakistan.The evening commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthems of Pakistan and Oman. Hosted by Abid Mughal, Mrs. Azra Aleem, and Mabool Sheikh, the event featured a special presentation by Kaleem Akhtar, highlighting the vision and past programs of the Pakistan Social Club.
In his keynote address, Ambassador Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and praised Oman’s rich culture and hospitality. He assured the Pakistani community of his full support, emphasizing that the doors of the Pakistani Embassy remain open to assist community members. He pledged to facilitate initiatives aimed at enhancing the welfare of Pakistanis in Oman.

The event concluded with a ceremonial cake-cutting, the presentation of shields to distinguished guests, and a grand dinner, fostering further dialogue and strengthening the Pakistan-Oman bond.
