Oman’s transport ministry floats tender to develop Burj Al Sahwa Roundabout

Muscat :The project is expected to play a key role in improving the road network connected to the roundabout, boosting traffic flow, and supporting future urban, commercial, and economic growth.

The project will include various development options, with contractors encouraged to propose solutions that best meet the needs of the area. These include a proposal involving the main baseline and a bridge, one with additional bridges and an underpass, and another based on suggestions from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning. Contractors will also have the opportunity to submit their own alternative solutions, potentially expanding the scope of work to include connections to the Muscat Expressway.

Interested parties have until February 2 to purchase the tender documents. The deadline for submitting bids is set for March 10, and the bids will be opened on April 28.
