Muscat: His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), welcomed Her Excellency Anna Escrohima, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Sultanate of Oman, during a meeting to discuss strengthening private sector partnerships between the two nations.
His Excellency said that the United States is one of the most prominent trade and investment partners of the Sultanate of Oman, especially with the prospects opened by the free trade agreement concluded between the two countries for mutual cooperation. This agreement works to deepen this cooperation year after year, stressing that the two countries’ celebration of the 15th anniversary of the conclusion of this agreement represents an opportunity to expand the private sector’s benefit from this agreement in particular.
Her Excellency the Ambassador pointed out a growing interest from American companies in exploring the investment environment in the Sultanate of Oman. There are great opportunities and ongoing potential as these opportunities work to sustain and deepen the partnership between our two countries.
