Oman’s ministry approves three new companies under managed security service providers

Muscat : These companies are Phoenix Technology Solutions Company (Securado), Insight Information Security Company (Insight), and Project Management Technology and Services Company (Promatas).
These companies have been certified in the area of managed security operations, meeting the national technical and administrative standards required by the Ministry.

The IT service providers Accreditation Program is an integrated system aimed at enhancing the IT sector’s contribution to the gross domestic product (GDP), while also ensuring the governance of private IT companies and ensuring their national capabilities and commitments. This is achieved by setting national standards (technical and administrative) that IT service providers must meet. The program also aims to stimulate competition in the market, provide job opportunities, and develop Omani talent capable of providing professional services in both the local and international markets.

The IT service providers Accreditation Programme targets all IT service providers in the Sultanate of Oman who wish to provide their services to government administrative units.
