Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has strongly condemned the recent bombing that targeted a church in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
In an official statement, Oman expressed its deep condolences to the government and people of Syria, and extended heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims. The Sultanate also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.
Reaffirming its principled position, Oman reiterated its categorical rejection of all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism, and called for collective efforts to uphold regional peace and stability.
