Oman strengthens ties with OPEC with focus on global energy stability

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs, highlighted the importance of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) during a joint meeting with the Council of Ministers and the State Council.
During his reception with His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), he reviewed aspects of joint cooperation between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the organization. He also reviewed the efforts made to ensure balance in energy supplies to serve the global economy and find appropriate means to protect the organization’s interests.
