Oman ranks 45th globally in Government AI Readiness Index 2024

MUSCAT : Oman has secured the 45th position globally for Artificial Intelligence (AI) readiness, according to the 2024 Government AI Readiness Index.

According to the index issued by London-based consulting firm Oxford Insights, Oman also maintained fifth place in the Middle East.
The latest ranking highlights Oman’s progress in adopting and integrating artificial intelligence into government systems and operations. The index evaluates countries based on their readiness to implement AI technologies effectively in public services, focusing on infrastructure, governance, and innovation.
Oman’s advancement underscores its commitment to leveraging AI for national development and enhancing digital transformation in line with Vision 2040. This achievement reflects the country’s growing focus on innovation and building AI capabilities across various sectors.
