Oman oil rises by $2.30 overnight hits $84.54 for March delivery

MUSCAT : Oman’s official oil price soared to USD 84.54 per barrel for March delivery, surging by USD 2.30 compared to yesterday’s rate of USD 82.24. Analysts cite robust global demand and improved market sentiment as key factors driving the sudden jump.

Meanwhile, the monthly average price of Omani crude for January delivery settled at USD 72.46 per barrel, reflecting a decrease of USD 2.36 from December’s rate.
