Oman condemns Jenin attack, calls for global action

Muscat: Oman has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ attack on Jenin in the occupied West Bank, which resulted in the deaths of innocent civilians and the destruction of vital infrastructure.

In a statement issued on January 24, 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deep concern over the assault, highlighting the systematic destruction of property and the loss of civilian lives. The Sultanate emphasized the need for urgent international action to halt such attacks and hold those responsible accountable under international legal and humanitarian frameworks.
The Ministry reaffirmed Oman’s unwavering position in support of a just and lasting peace, aligning with United Nations resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative. Calling for justice and the lifting of injustices faced by civilians in all occupied Palestinian territories, Oman urged the global community to act decisively to prevent further escalation.
