Muscat: The session, titled “Artificial Intelligence and Drones,” aims to explore the transformative potential of these technologies while addressing regulatory frameworks for their effective use.
Jamal bin Khalfan Al Asmi, CEO of Reality CG, emphasized the critical role of AI and drone technology in advancing key sectors outlined in Oman Vision 2040 and how these technologies drive sustainable growth and economic diversification while streamlining operations in logistics.
Highlighting drones’ innovative applications, Al Asmi noted their significant impact on precision agriculture, reducing water consumption and boosting crop productivity. He also pointed out their importance in disaster management, offering instant mapping and life-saving search-and-rescue capabilities during natural disasters like earthquakes and floods.
