Oman and Saudi Arabia sign MoU to enhance financial cooperation

Muscat :The agreement was formalised today, January 12, in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, with Oman represented by His Excellency Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, and Saudi Arabia by His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Jadaan, Minister of Finance.

The MoU focuses on fostering collaboration in areas such as financial policy development, exchange of expertise, and enhancing coordination on regional and international financial issues. The agreement also aims to improve public sector governance, financial systems, and legislation between the two countries. This step is seen as a key milestone in bolstering the longstanding bilateral ties between Oman and Saudi Arabia.
