Oman and Philippines hold political consultations in Manila

Muscat : The Omani delegation was led by His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, while the Philippine side was headed by Her Excellency Maria Teresa Lazaro, Undersecretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations and ASEAN.

During the consultation, both sides discussed a wide range of topics, focusing on enhancing relations in various fields, including politics, economy, trade, investment, education, and information technology. The two delegations also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, underscoring the shared commitment to peace and development.
In a separate meeting, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa Al Harthy met with His Excellency Enrique Manalo, the Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs, to further explore avenues of bilateral cooperation and discuss the continued strengthening of ties between the two nations.

The session was attended by key officials, including His Excellency Nasser bin Saeed Al Manouri, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Philippines, and His Excellency Raul Hernandez, Ambassador of the Philippines to Oman, alongside various diplomats and officials from both countries.
