Oman and Netherlands joint statement pledges deeper ties, green future and peace

MUSCAT : The announcement came in light of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik’s 3-day state visit and highlights both nations’ determination to expand cooperation across vital sectors, emphasizing mutual understanding, economic growth, and innovation. The statement reinforces the importance of trade and collaborative ventures in unlocking new opportunities for both countries.

A key focus of the renewed partnership lies in the energy transition, with Oman and the Netherlands jointly pledging to advance initiatives in carbon neutrality, renewable energy, and green hydrogen. The two nations also plan to deepen collaboration in water management, drawing on their longstanding expertise in sustainable water solutions.
