Oman and Iraq Foreign Ministers discuss bilateral cooperation and regional stability

MUSCAT : During the meeting, His Excellency Sayyid Badr and His Excellency Dr. Fuad Hussein discussed various aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries, and ways to enhance and pursue them with a view to securing common interests and achieving greater benefits for the peoples of the two countries.

The two ministers also discussed regional and international developments. They stressed the need to continue coordination and consultation to support all efforts to consolidate regional security, stability and peace through peaceful solutions, dialogue, diplomacy and respect the sovereignty of countries and the principles of international law.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Qais Saad Al Amri, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Sultanate of Oman, and other officials from the two countries.
