Algiers : The signing ceremony featured a preliminary agreement, four memoranda of understanding, two memoranda of cooperation, and four executive programmes between the two countries.
A key highlight of the agreements was the announcement of a joint Omani-Algerian investment fund with a proposed capital of RO 115.4 million (approximately 300 million US dollars). The investments will focus on food security, pharmaceutical industries, and minerals and mining, in addition to scientific, technical, educational, agricultural, investment, pharmaceutical industries, judicial cooperation, justice, plant protection, and animal health.
