OCCI to Launch 4th Franchise Wave to Propel Omani Brands Globally

Muscat : The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) is set to unveil the fourth wave of its Franchise Programme on Sunday, in a ceremony to be held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Al Fadl bin Mohammed Al Harthy, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers.

This initiative, a cornerstone of OCCI’s strategic framework, is designed to diversify income sources and empower small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by supporting the expansion of Omani brands into regional and global markets.

The Franchise Programme focuses on enhancing the market value and competitiveness of local brands, positioning them for sustained success beyond Oman’s borders. It also reflects Oman’s broader national goals to strengthen the business ecosystem, accelerate economic diversification, and stimulate governorate-level development across the Sultanate.

By enabling businesses to scale up through franchising, the programme not only boosts entrepreneurship but also contributes to job creation and long-term economic resilience.
