OCCI gathers to boost Omani brands, eye global markets

Muscat: The meeting forms part of the third edition of the Commercial Franchise Program.

Eng. Hamoud bin Salem Al Saadi, Second Deputy Chairman of OCCI’s Board of Directors and Head of the Commercial Franchise Program, chaired the meeting, emphasizing the pivotal role trademarks play in defining and promoting products. He reiterated OCCI’s commitment to fostering a robust trademark culture, equipping business owners, and supporting Omani companies to leverage the advantages of commercial franchises.

Participants explored the importance of trademark registration as the first step in securing franchise rights and delved into the procedures and requirements for local and international registration. Insights into marketing strategies, legal frameworks, and tools for reaching diverse commercial markets were shared, providing attendees with practical guidance to strengthen their brands.
