Nigli’s Short Film Festival awards to be presented on Feb 28

The Nigli’s Short Film Competition, shot exclusively with mobile cameras, organised by Nigli’s Advertising in association with Karnataka Tourism, is hosting the award ceremony for the participants at 4.30 pm on 28 February, 2021 at St. Josephs Institute of Management Off MG Road Bangalore.

The event is aimed at raising awareness about this new genre and inspire college students to explore their creativity. The theme for the competition is ‘Karnataka Tourism: One State, Many Worlds’.

Students from around 100 major colleges in Karnataka are participating in this event. The award carries cash and trophies; and participants will also be given certificate.

Mr. C.P.Yogeshwar, State Minister of Tourism, Ecology & Environment Department,, will be the Chief Guest at the event. Mr T K Anil Kumar IAS, and Mr Ramesh IAS, the Principal Secretary and Director respectively, will be the Guests of Honour of the event.

The special invitees are Dr.Joseph VG, Chancellor Garden City University, Dr. Thomas John,Chairman T-John College Bangalore, Girish Kasaravalli,Film Director, Saraswathi Jgirdar Film Journalist, Jai Jagdeesh, Director/Producer and many others from Kannada film Industry, representatives of NGOs such as YMCA, Lions’ Club, and Rotarians etc
