The markets close with gains on the first trading day on July 13. Nifty was able to end trading above 10,800.
Sensex made a gain of 99.36 points. Nifty also rose 34.70 points. Sensex ended trading at 36693.69 points. At one point Sensex rose up to 37,024.20 points.
Nifty closed at 10.802. During trading Nifty rose till 10.894.05 points. There is pressure on the Niftyu at 10,800 and this pressure is continuing quite strongly. Nifty is oscillating at this point.
Tech Mahindra, Hindalco, HCL Tech, JSW Steel and Reliance Industries are the five Nifty shares that registered good gains. Tech Mahindra gained over 5%. On July 13, 34 of the 50 share Nifty Index registered good gain.
Reliance Industries which has been bullish registered a new record with a 52- week high price. It hit its record high of Rs 1,938.80 per share. Over the past one month this share has given a profit of 23%.
Powergrid, Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, HDFC and ICICI Bank faced most losses in the day. Auto and Metal shares put up a good show on July 13. At the same time banking shares faced selling pressure.
