Nayanthara joins Fahadh Faasil in Paattu as the leading lady

South superstar Nayanthara will play the female lead in Fahadh Faasil’s next ‘Paattu’directed by Alphonse Puthren.

The director announced the news through his official social media pages. “Happy to announce that Lady Superstar Nayanthara is joining our feature film ‘Paattu’. The hero is Fahadh Faasil and the heroine is Nayanthara. Will announce further updates about cast and crew soon,” wrote Alphonse on his Facebook page.

Zacharia Thomas and Alwin Antony will produce the movie. ‘Pattu’ will mark Alphonse Puthren’s third movie after ‘Neram’ and ‘Premam’. Apart from director, Alphonse Puthren has turned writer, music director and editor for the movie.

On the work front, Nayanthara was last seen in the Tamil movie ‘Mookuthi Amman’. ‘Netrikann’, ‘Annathe’ and ‘Kaathuvakkula Rendu Kaadhal’ are her upcoming Tamil movies. She is also coming up with a slew of Malayalam movies. After working with Nivin Pauly in ‘Love Action Drama’, Nayanthara recently wrapped the shooting of Kunchacko Boban starrer ‘Nizhal’.

Fahadh was last seen in the thriller movie ‘C U Soon’. According to reports, he is currently engaged in the shooting of ‘Joji’. ‘Malik’,’Irul’, ‘Thankam’ and ‘Malayankunju’ are his upcoming movies
