The 19th N Narendran Memorial Lecture will be held on August 7. Kerala State Higher Education Council Vice Chairman Professor Rajan Gurukkal will be the main speaker. This time, owing to the current covid pandemic situation , the lecture is conducted virtually through facebook live at 7pm on their page “Narendran Lecture”.
He will speak on the topic “National Education Policy 2020: The Unknown facts”.
The lecture will discuss the flip sides of Prime Minister Modi government’s National Education Policy. At a time when the covid-19 spread is increasing, there is little conversation about the New Education Policy 2020, which is going to change the entire education ecosystem of Indian Education, a tradition which was followed for three decades. .
Professor Rajan Gurukkal is a leading historian and writer and front runner in the policy making for the expansion of education in Kerala.
The talk is held in memory of N Narendran, a former scribe and journalist.
