Mysterious death of Sharon: Crime Branch to quiz girlfriend

Though police tried to take the statement of the girl on the same day ofSharon’s death, more details could not be collected due to her poor health condition

Thiruvananthapuram: Crime Branch began investigation of the mysterious death of Parassala native Sharon on Sunday. The Crime Branch team will soon record the statement of Sharon’s friend, who offered ayurvedic medicine and juice to Sharon hours before his death. The girl was directed to arrive arrive at the office of the rural SP on Sunday morning…….

The investigating team will be led by rural SP D Shilpa and ASP Zulfikar. Though police tried to take the statement of the girl on the same day ofSharon’s death, more details could not be collected due to her poor health condition. However, a detailed interrogation will be held on Sunday.

Meanwhile, police or the doctors who treated Sharon could not uncover the mystery behind the death. The cause of death was not even identified after autopsy. A chemical examination of the internal organs will only reveal the death cause, informed the investigating team. Rural SP had informed that a special medical team would be set up to probe this.
