Muscat : The Sultanate of Oman is set to host a new round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States this Sunday, as confirmed by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei.
Speaking via the ministry’s official Telegram channel on Tuesday, Baghaei noted that the upcoming meeting is part of ongoing diplomatic efforts, following five earlier rounds held in Muscat and Rome. The talks, facilitated by Oman, are aimed at reducing tensions and fostering constructive dialogue between the two nations.
“Oman continues to play a crucial mediating role in promoting diplomatic engagement,” Baghaei stated, according to Iran’s official news agency IRNA.
