Muscat Nights illuminates the capital with month-long festivities

Muscat: Running until January 23, this highly anticipated festival will transform Muscat into a hub of cultural performances, culinary delights, thrilling adventures, and family-friendly entertainment, offering the perfect way to ring in the New Year.

One of the festival’s star attractions is the breathtaking Flower Festival at Qurum National Park, where vivid floral displays will mesmerize visitors. Adding to the enchantment are drone shows, laser and light spectacles, and theatrical performances, making it a must-visit highlight. Guests can also enjoy outdoor movie nights at the Muscat Nights Cinema, set under the stars.
Al Amerat Park will host theatrical performances, a children’s car racing track, and a heritage village showcasing Oman’s rich culture. Meanwhile, Naseem Park is set to thrill with a drift track, carnival games, and nightly fireworks displays. A consumer exhibition and the adrenaline-pumping Horror Land experience add to the excitement.
Seeb Beach – Sur Al Hadid will feature beach football, drum shows, magic performances, and kite-flying events. Fans of live music can catch Omani sensation Haitham Rafi on December 27 at 7 PM for an electrifying performance.

At the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, children can meet iconic characters like Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo, and Tom and Jerry while enjoying activities celebrating the stories of Muscat.

Adventure enthusiasts can head to Wadi Al Khoud for zip lines, 4WD challenges, and mountain hiking trails, alongside trampoline zones for children. At the Oman Automobile Association, visitors can experience go-karting championships, drift competitions, and the Arena Fight Championship.

The 10th Shotokan Karate Centre Open Championship at Al-Amal Sports Club in Ghala will take place on January 10-11, inviting athletes aged 5 and above to compete for RO 3,000 in cash prizes.
