Muscat Municipality reminds commercial building owners to preserve Oman’s aesthetic appeal

Muscat: The Municipality emphasized that adherence to technical standards is crucial in preserving the city’s visual charm, which is a source of pride for all its residents.

A recent inspection has revealed several discrepancies that tarnish the city’s image. These include:Visual distortions on building exteriors.
Satellite dishes mounted on balconies and front facades.
Cracks appearing in building cladding.
Dilapidated or incomplete front fences.
Deformed iron barriers used on fences or roofs.

The Municipality urged immediate action to rectify these issues, reminding building owners of their shared responsibility to maintain the city’s beauty and integrity.
