Muscat Duty Free announce The Big Cash Ticket draw winners

Muscat Duty Free has announced the winners of the 72 ‘The Big Cash Ticket’ draw. According to a media release, Challapprayam Nasar won the grand prize of $100,000 with ticket number 1891, Shabab Puthiya won $15,000 with ticket number 1432, and Subash Karuvan, took home $10,000 with ticket number 2870.

Challapprayam Nasar, who has been living in UAE for the past 32 years, expressed surprise and joy at winning $100,000. “I never thought I would be the luckiest winner, especially since this was my first time participating,” he said.

“I bought just one ticket while in transit at Muscat International Airport last August. Winning this amount will allow me to finally clear my debts,” he added.

Shabab Puthiya, who has been living in Oman for 26 years as a business owner, couldn’t believe his luck when he won $15,000. He said, “I purchased my ticket from the Muscat Duty Free shop during my travel through Muscat International Airport. I never imagined this ticket would change my life! I’m incredibly grateful to Muscat Duty Free for this opportunity, and I’ve decided to use this money to buy a car for my son.”

Subash Karuvan, who has been working as a mechanic in Oman since 2003, was overjoyed with his $10,000 win. He explained, “I’ve been trying my luck for a while, purchasing ‘The Big Cash Ticket’ three times before without success. I had experienced a lot of disappointments, so I never expected this to be my lucky time. I’m grateful to finally be one of the winners, and I’m now thinking carefully about how to use the prize effectively.”

Renat Rozpravka, CEO of Muscat Duty Free, extended warm congratulations to the winners and wished all participants the best of luck for the upcoming raffle draw 73, which also features three amazing prizes.

Tickets for The Big Cash Ticket can be purchased at Muscat International Airport in Departures and Arrivals area that is accessible to non-travelers, or online at www.muscatdutyfree.com, according to the release.
